What To Expect When You Book With Me

  • Prior to scheduling your hypnotherapy sessions a 1/2 hour consultation is required; contact me with a brief description of what it is that you are looking for along with any questions you may have about the process. You will receive a response within 24 hours with details for booking your consultation. The consultation can be scheduled in person or online using Zoom. I strongly advise that you attend the consultation in person for the following reasons:

    • to meet your therapist in person, given the sensitive nature of the work that you are seeking 

    • to have a sense of the therapeutic environment where the sessions take place

    • to avoid technical difficulties associated with technology

    • to eliminate the need to find a private place where you can speak freely

    • to step out of the environment where you have been experiencing the issue and get a new perspective

  • The consultation fee is 45$, tax included and the full cost of this consultation will be credited towards your hypnotherapy sessions.

  • Each therapy session lasts for 50 min in duration, as appropriate, given that issues being dealt with are emotional in nature and sufficient time has to be taken into consideration.

  • The sessions are being held one week apart. It can take anywhere between 1 and 5 sessions to resolve an issue; depending on the severity of the issue and whether more areas that need healing are uncovered, more sessions may be required.

  • Arrive 10 min earlier for your appointment to avoid feeling rushed and to also gather your thoughts prior to the session.

  • The sessions and therapy protocols are tailored to your needs, in some instances protocols may be developed for you.

  • In terms of appointment times, we offer availability in the evenings and on weekends.​

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:​​

  • A notice of 24 hours is required for a cancellation or change in appointment, otherwise a charge of 100$ will apply.

  • Fees are payable in cash, Interac, e-transfer, Visa, Mastercard and AMEX.

INSURANCE CLAIM:

Workplace benefits package (health spending/wellness account/alternative medicine) may cover sessions. It’s important to confirm with your provider to find out what your plan covers, as every plan is unique for each individual.

An official insurance receipt is provided that includes all the information about your practitioner, the service provided, and the amount paid.
